CROWN & BRIDGE
4-Unit Bridge

Patient presented with broken incised edges on #11&21, and was unsatisfied with bridge aesthetics.

Cement-retained bridge was removed and replaced with angled-screw retained temporaries to correct protrusive contacts and train soft tissue.
-
Final bridge included an ovate Pontic design on #11, 21 and shorter incisal edges on #12, 21.
Anterior Makeover
-
Patient had undergone increase in vertical dimension, and wanted to finish anterior make-over to complete case.
-
Wax-ups and try-ins were prior to prepping anterior teeth to accommodate new function and improve aesthetics.

Upper teeth were prepped and temporaries were worn untilfunction an aesthetics were optimal.
-
Final uppers were inserted, and lowers were inserted 6 month later.
#45-47 Bridge, #14 Implant Crown
-
Patient presented had extractions of teeth #47, 46, 45 due to extensive caries. Teeth were extracted and a #45-47 bridge treatment planned. Tooth #14 had vertical root fracture, and #14 implant was also treatment planned.

Implants were placed. 5 months later, open-tray impressions of implants were taken to fabricate bridge and single crown.

Final restorations were inserted at the same visit.
#12 Crown Remake

Patient presented with staining on. #12 crown. Had been done recently. Marginal Leakage was diagnosed.
-
Crown was removed, and tooth re-prepped to remove stained dentin layer.
-
Stump shade and custom shading was used to match colour.
-
Variolink aesthetic try-paste and cement was used at insertion to finalize colour match.

SURGERY
Congenitally Missing Laterals

Young patient presented with congenitally missing laterals, which had been replaced with Maryland bridge and flipper. Patient wanted implant solution, without orthodontic treatment.

CT scan showed narrow MD spaces on #12, 22, and signifcant buccal depressions.
-
Implants & GBR were placed at same time.

2 week post-op images and panoramic

Currently waiting for osseointegration before insertion of #12, 22 implant crowns.
-
Wax-up for #12-22 make-over will be used to plan for anterior aesthetics.
Loose #47-45 Bridge
-
Patient presented with loose #45-47 bridge. Abutment teeth showed gross decay under bridge, and poor periodontal prognosis.
-
A #45-47 bridge was treatment planned for the site.
-
Removal of bridge, extraction of teeth #47 and #45, and immediate implant placement were done in one visit.
-
2 week follow up showed good healing and adequate KT around implant collars.
-
#45-47 implant bridge will be inserted once osseointegratrion is adequate.
